GREEN CARE

Green Care is a holistic, nature-based therapy that leverages the healing power of the natural world to support emotional well-being and growth. By combining active participation, such as gardening and animal care, with the restorative benefits of simply being in nature, we offer a therapeutic experience that is both engaging and calming.

Our approach is trauma-informed and compassionate, tailored to meet the individual needs of children and adolescents, including those with disabilities or challenging behaviors. By empowering clients to choose activities that resonate with them, we promote self-expression, skill development, and meaningful connections in a nurturing environment.

We are dedicated to creating safe spaces where individuals who have experienced trauma or upheaval can heal, thrive, and rediscover joy through the transformative magic of nature. Every moment spent in nature brings new opportunities for exploration, resilience, and a brighter, more hopeful future.

MUSIC AND SOUND THERAPY

This spring, we are excited to enhance our therapeutic forest with specially designed sound-painting artifacts. These unique installations are crafted in collaboration with expert musicians and skilled musical instrument manufacturers, who carefully tune each piece to produce harmonious, calming sounds.

These sound sculptures are thoughtfully placed throughout the forest to create a soothing auditory landscape, helping our clients to relax and experience a profound sense of inner peace. By blending the natural ambiance with these melodic tones, we aim to deepen the therapeutic experience, fostering calm, emotional balance, and overall well-being.

Our dedication to this innovative concept underscores our mission to harness the healing power of nature and music, providing a joyful, sensory-rich environment where individuals can truly unwind, connect with their surroundings, and embark on a journey of self-discovery and healing.

SENSORY INTEGRATION THERAPY

Sensory integration is the process by which we are able to receive information through our senses, process it and use it in everyday life. If the sensory integration does not work properly, the child, pupil or client is unreasonably active, unable to sit at the table, or otherwise “dreamy”. He has problems with fine motor skills, dexterity, avoids physical activities. He has difficulty with articulation or his speech development is delayed. He reacts too impulsively to some situations. Does not concentrate, has problems with reading, writing or arithmetic. These manifestations and many others often fall under certain diagnoses or the child is only labeled as “problematic” or “at risk”. However, another cause can be hidden behind these manifestations, and that is a problem in the field of sensory integration. People with sensory processing disorder are unable to convert incoming sensory information into appropriate responses.

Based on very negative experiences with the state of things during the so-called pandemic, we decided to dedicate a part of the therapeutic forest to a space for sensory integration therapy in an outdoor environment. We will diagnose the needs of individual clients and, based on the results, propose therapeutic procedures that will use outdoor elements manufactured and installed for that purpose.
